Warrens beautiful P-38 build has got me thinking about U.S. aircraft, a subject about which I know very little. Anyway I found this piccy and thought "that would look good amongst all that Luftwaffe mottle."
Can anyone enlighten me as to what exactly it is?
TIA
Steve

Thankyou Sir,
I'd discovered the 5000th bit but not the rest just before checking in here. Also appears to have a large white YIPPEE accross underside - should be fun.
Thanks again

Steve, Hasegawa do or did a 1/72 scale release of this P-38 in those colourful markings.

Thanks Luciano
I'll be looking to do it in 1/32 if I can find a suitable subject to convert. I'm sure I'll have loads of fun with that lettering!!
This one is a way down the queue so I haven't really started looking for a kit yet.
Cheers
