I intend to build a Pegasus kit of the Armstrong-Whitworth FK8 as the machine flown by McLeod and Hammond in their epic battle with eight Fokker Triplanes on March 27th, 1918.
Their machine, B5773, was probably six months old at the time. Had it been rebuilt? Did it have the original oleo undercarriage, or had it been retrofitted with a Brisfit undercarriage?
I have the appropriate Windsock Datafile , but if anyone can tell me where I can find additional information, I would be most grateful.
Keep those wonderful models coming, you guys ( and guy-esses! )
