Hey folks! This is my 1/72 scale FW-190A-3 produced by Tamiya. It is painted with Polly Scale colors of standard RLM 74/75 topsides and RLM 76 undersides. Very nice kit, and good decals as well. Just a little bit of softening agent applied and they settled nicely. If only all decals were this cooperative! Ha ha.
I took pictures of the 190 next to the Revell B-17 in 1/72 scale for an interesting look. I made the simple base out of plywood and woodland scenics material. Just gives it something to set on.
I hope you all enjoy looking at these two opponents. The gap in the joint of the horizontal stabs and fuselage is apparent in one of the photos of the B-17. As I posted before the B-17 wasn't a great kit by todays standards but it was fun to throw it together since I had built this kit as a child. Russell
