Having recently struggled with the AML 1/72 Mirage IIICJ, I never thought that I would have the doggedness to build another one. But for the photo-reconnaissance campaign there was simply no nose more overwheming than the Israeli "tzniut".

The AML kit was as troublesome as the previous one. The plastic is way to thick. Thus, nothing fits without a whole lot of violence. The decals were very crisp and brittle, and the big yellow triangles were a nightmare. The result, however, was quite ok. And it sure is a remarkable aircraft!!

I used the paint range from Agama and painted the camoflage free hand (my first try - lots of fun!). The colours of Agama are very nice, but the paint was difficult to use with the airbrush. Even heavily thinned, the brush clogged repeatedly, making the task quite difficult! The markings are from the late 70's.

Such a pretty couple, don't you think?! :-)

Comments are welcome!

Cheers!! / PolarBear
