Is it just me or WW1 German a/c seat belts were not white (as, for example, offered by coloured Eduard PE)?

I've seen some pics before, but here's my collection of German a/c seat belts that appear little bit darker than white:

I saw somewhere here or over at the aerodrome forum that some were more a Khaki colour... to my mind Eduards look a bit to pale anyhow. your pics seem to corroborate the knaki theory, I suppose they could have been many shades......locally manufactured possibly.

Canvas, O.D. green to Khaki is a good call. The lighter undyed canvas colours and leather lap straps / belts were seen as well.
