Hi Guys,
I'm having to scratch build a set of seatbelts for my entry in the Cave Tonitrum
Group build.
Could any one tell me approx how wide they would have to be?
Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris.
I just measured a set of Eduard belts. The shoulder straps are approximately 1mm wide and the lap belts are approximately 1.6mm wide.

Sutton harness 3" = 1/16" in 1/48, or (anadi) 1.5mm.

divide whatever you'd measure or guess a real item to be then divide by the scale keeping the units of measurment the same. if real one is 50 mm wide, in 1/48, it would be 50 divided by 48 or 1.04 mm. in 1/25 it would be 50/25 or 2 mm.
