I just got the Academy YF22-A kit (1/48), and it is beautiful. If you haven't seen it yet, take a look. Particularly notice how the fuselage goes together. It is worth seeing.

Why YF-22?
Is it the prototype version?

My misttype...F-22A. I haven't started it yet, but I will take some pictures of the kit and put 'em up.

There is a review on Hyperscale

The cockpit doesn't seem that detailed and there are some sinkmarks on the weapon bay doors...

What is it with Academy and their cockpits? Beautiful models, until you see the cockpit and you are like What the heck!? Had this problem with the SU-27 I picked up. Had to get the ONLY Eduard PE available for this bugger. It's a PITA as well. I've used PE before, no problem, but this stuff is giving me issues, and it's ticking me off. I would have scrapped the whole thing, but I want an SU REALLY REALLY bad.
