This is the excellent (well it was excellent until I got my grubby mitts on it).
It's in the markings of the CAG's bird from VA-97 during Operation "Evening Light" in 1979.

Thanx Scott.
I guess I did ok on it.
It's also one of my favourite A/C after Grumman's last big fighter.
I have many more A-7's to build.
And many more 'Cats.
Im glad you like it.

I love the looks of a fully laden Corsair. I think you captured the essence of the aircraft very well. Nice build.

Gents,
This has surprised me a little. I went researching back through the forum to see if the Hobbyboss 1/72 A-7E was even written about. I'm building one now, and in my opinion it is an extremely nice kit. (Granted, I am NOT a rivet counter !, just an average modeler.) But there is very little written about this kit.
I found it to be detailed, crisp, and a relatively quick build. Probably the only area I feel is a problem would be the price... a little high. IMO.
So anyone else have opinions on this kit ? There are definitely plenty of markings one can choose from. Take it easy ........................Bruce

A very nice build indeed. I would like to build a U.S. Air Force version of the A-7 in 1/72 scale. Any recommendations on kits? Russell

Hi Russel,
I would recomend the fujimi kit. It's oop now but with luck u can find this kit. I build one and many other E version of the fujimi kit. More easy n simple kit if compare to hobbyboss.
