Hi,

Just quick question to ensure I won't be spreading false kit info around.

What manufacturers have made kits of the F6F Hellcat in 1:48 scale?

I've been doing some research and found the following:
- Monogram
- Otaki/Arii
- Airfix (reboxing of Otaki kit?)
- Fujimi
- Hasegawa
- Eduard

Is that list anywhere near complete?
Also, can someone confirm if Airfix's kit indeed is an Otaki/Arii reboxed?
And what about Fumiji. I've haven't heard of that before. An original kit of theirs?

Thanks in advance.

I believe Linhberg had one also, being a dog or not, it was a Hellcat.

You're list looks complete to me. The Airfix kit was indeed, from the Otaki molds (as was their 1/48 P-51D). The Fujimi kit was a Fujimi original and unless you want one for filling a collection, really not worth the bother. I'm not 100% sure, but I suspect as with quite a few of their other "1/48" scale kits from that era, it's probably actually 1/50.
