I have finished my Revell 1/32 AH-1G Cobra, it has the Cobra Company cockpit and turret and the Fireball Models Decals.
I had trouble fitting the canopy and mucked it up a bit as you can see in the photos.
Let me know what you think bad or good?
Cheers
David

Looks pretty nice. The canopy fit isn't too bad. Good job on it.

Nice model except for the canopy area.
To be honest, I would try to do some additional work and try to solve the problem.
I would seal the decals with varnish or future, allow a lot of time to dry, and mask the canopy so that only the "trouble zone" remains visible. From the picture it seems that you would have a strip of 3 mm wide over the whole length of the canopy which has to remain visible.
Then use Tamiya putty, smeer it with your finger over the trouble area.
Allow lots of time to dry and sand with a 3200 paper until suface is really smooth. The tape should prevent that the canopy or painted area gets damaged when sanding.
The remove the tape and add a new one +/- 0.5 mm wider than the sanded area to repaint.
To avoid finger prints all over the model, use medical gloves.

Thanks for the comments guys.
I might look at improving the canopy area, don't know yet as I have two more of these kits in the stash so might put this one down to learning and try and improve on the next?
Cheers

Looking good!
If you hadn't mentioned the problem on the canpoy I wouldn't have noticed.

Take Heart Dear Boy,In the not too distant past i got the Revell 1/32 Apache, spent a fortune on the Verlinden detail set and then trying to cut corners dealing with a warped canopy i superglued it - A few hours later - PRESTO,one misted up canopy !!!
I still displayed at club night, with some ad hoc nose art - IDIOT`S DELIGHT !!
A Damned Expensive way to learn a lesson.
