Hello
Finaly i yesterday i finished this since very long ago started model.
A Tamiya fw 190 D-9 with Aires resin and ets and decals partly from Eagle Cals and partly from the box.
This one was interesting , have never put so much work into a model before, , sometimes really frustrating and sometimes really fun , in the end it feels quite good , but i will not do something like this again in a long time
Some pictures
Comments and sugesstions are welcome

Quick question, how did you get the 'rough' look on the exhausts, it looks very well done.

Well Steve , i haven´t done a thing to them :-) , i only painted them with first primer and then Tamiya xf-56 after that i used Mig drypigments light rust and black smoke and over it all a layer of matt varnish. So maybe the surface is that way from the beginning or maybe there has stucked some dust in the paint or maybe it is a positive sideeffect of the Mig products.
Sorry i can´t help you more then this but try the Mig things and se if you get the same result.

Hi Roger,
Many thanks for the reply. Maybe the MIG pigments are the way then. I will give them a go.
