I am building a Hellcat from WW2, in the tri-color scheme.
Just wondering if the wheel wells were flat white like the bottom of the aircraft or interior green?
Also, the landing gear doors, would the insides of those be white? Or interior green?
Thanks in advance,
~Chip

Hey there; I believe the wheel well colors are either interior green or zinc chromate green. Look for some more input but that is the right direction. Russell.

I believe that the wheel well colour, as well as the rest of the landing gear (and door interior) to be the underside colour, ie white for the 3 colour scheme and sea blue for the single sea blue scheme. I am unable to check my references at the moment, but even without them this is the way I would proceed.
