Airfix and Trumpeter both do a 1:24th P-51D Mustang.
Havent built either of them though I'm afraid.

The airfix kit needs lots of work , and I mean lots . there is no detail in the wheel wells at all nothing but empty space so in the area everything will need to be srcatchbuilt . all the rivets need to sanded off and panel lines are over done which need filling and resrcibed . cockpit also needs work done as well most of it is wrong . I could go on and on but it does build up a fair model with a little skill . Not sure on the trump kit so if you can find a review of it , it might be the option to go on . as far as other manufactures go I not sure if any others are out there .

No trouble at all . Didn't know that Hobbycraft Canada did one in 1/24 scale ! I would go for the Trump kit for the best detail and their is aftermarket stuff out there to aid in some of the details in the cockpit . place cards for the instruments and seat belts . Good luck and share your build with the rest of us .
