Hi
I was wondering if anyone could share their thoughts on the pros and cons between the MPM and the Trumpeter Wellington Mk.III kits in 1/72.
Which is the better kit, showing the greatest detail? Or, is there a better 1/72 kit than these from another manufacturer?
Thanks in advance. Guy

You might find it helpful to browse a few other sites, such as Hyperscale and Modeling Madness. My memory from them is that the MPM kit is quite a bit harder to build (not sure why, but it breaks down very differently) while the Trumpeter kit's better detailed in some resepcts but its surface finish is a bit coarse. There's not much to choose between them on price so it's hard to choose. If I get one, which is looking increasingly likely, it will be from Trumpeter, but that's mainly because they offer the Mk.XIV.
