Most excellent job done Jim . The weathering is out standing !! Did you use the miss' hair for the rigging ? At the rate you are going with the builds I don't think she will have much left in a few years

thanks guys ...she has indeed cut her hair ... ..Im running on "reserve" here ..
I actually used WEM lycra thread between the outriggers, and stretched sprue between the wings and outriggers, tail area also...I cut out the winglights and added clear sprue...cut,ground, and sanded, polished, painted in tamiya paints mixed with future floorwax

Very cool. Excellent job on a not-too-often modeled aircraft. Very well crafted.

Thanks Justen ..I have looked at this kit for a long time and the price always put me off...Fujimi is just darned expensive. The planets aligned and I picked this kit up a couple weeks ago at the Guelph show .....its a real sweetheart.
I forgot to mention the seatbelts are lead foil and the canopy was dipped in future, masked with baremetal foil before paint..
I used 6 shades of green and brown on the upper side with an Iwata Revolution brush

A beautiful job indeed. Got to love that 1/72 scale right! Ha ha. The scale I work in. I just wish I wasn't afraid of doing rigging, or I would do more kits like the one you completed. Very nice once again. Russell.

I've been looking for one of these beauties for a long time now. Great find, and even better build! Well done!

Thanks guys ....I just realized I forgot to paint the pitot tube .... It was an easy build and rigging isnt something to be intimidated by ...its just a bit tedious really. Working on Haswgawas "Mavis" now and will soon start Revell-Takaras "Sally".....THAT is one sweet kit ....

Excellent job Jim!
It's nice to ACTUALLY SEE the kit built up! For awhile back in the late 90's, Fujimi released some really nice Japanese planes, albiet expensive!
I love the subtle weathering on the ribs! Keep up the excellent work!

Thanks guys .....Im deep in research on the "Sally"s intirior as we speak.. The kits from the 70s and 80s were sparse on their intiriors and I want the next kit to be able to stand up to the "IPMS Death-ray" (thats a judges penlight..)

"IPMS Death Ray" -- LOL! Gotta love it!
On a similar vein, I saw this on another website the other day. A bit pricy, but almost worth it!
