Hi folks,
Just thought I'd post my progress on an Mig 21 that I'm building. Im making an Indian AF plane that fought in the 1999 Kargil war, piloted by Sdn Ldr Ajay Ahuja. He was killed in action.
For starters, here is a pic of the painted cockpit assembly:
I have put up pics of my progress so far at Webshots. Here's the link:

I also scratchbuilt the hydraulic lines for the front nose wheel. You can see it in this pic:

Hi folks,
Thanks for your kind words! I did take some artistic licence as to the colors of the dials and other bits in the cockpit. But it turned out so quite well, I didn't have the heart to apply any washes !
Penpen, I have not modified the original kit in any way. Just added some scratchbuilt panels in the cockpit, and added lines and cabling to the front nose wheel assembly.
Dave, are you still seeing the red X's? I did have that problem yesterday, but not today..Do let me know. Anyway, I have given the link to all pics at the bottom of my first post, so you can use that if you can see the pics above...
Cheers,
BP.
