Hi everyone!
I got a Hasegawa 1/72 F-104 (versione G and S) at a very convenient price (€10).
I started asseblying it and I noticed a few damage to the plastic, especially in the back of the front half of the fuselage, close to the rear gear bay, where there is a huge sink which leaves a terrific and visible gap (check the drawing which shows a section of the fuselage in the forementioned area, I don't know how to tell you!)
How can I sort it out? I have green Milliput, but is it the best solution?
I didn't spend much on this kit, being it an old one (the decals - 2 sheets! - are unusable because totally yellowish), but I would be sorry to throw it away.
Thanks for any help!

Everyone has their favoured gap filling I like squadron green or superglue with bicarb.
But best of all if you can get away with it is thin strips of plastic, you can just trim them in place and avoid much sanding.
If it is just a sink mark then fill it with a disc of plastic. Putties can shrink and crack and fall out.
Can you post a photo of the offending area?
