Ju-87B Stuka, Hasegawa, 1/48th, Aeromaster Decals, in decaling stage. Interesting desert camo scheme. Aeromaster acrylics, RLM 70/71/65 with a midstone lightened with a little white, to almost a Panzer Dk yellow. It is supposed to be an Italian sand shade.

Only upgrades used was Eduard Luftwaffe seatbelts, and EZ mask canopy mask, (which leaves a residue on the glazing). Another problem was the masking had a tendency to lift off around compound curves. On flat panels it was ok. The fit of the masks on each panel was good. Just the lifting up during the painting was aggravating.

Straight forward build. Next step is weathering and then the dullcote. And final detail bits and ordnance.

Thanks for for viewing.

Fly Navy! Yes there are some USN stuff forthcoming!

:-) Love this model, I have one almost complete and one recently started. Both desert camo, the one recently started has a snake down the fuselage. Yours is looking good. What did you do about the internal frames (decals in the kit) on the canopy?

CA, nice lookin' Stuka. Nice camo work.

Used the CE (Cutting Edge) canopy mask set. Edged the canopy in RLM02 with a brush and then applied the mask. Little disappointed with the mask that it had trouble sticking to any of the compound curves on the rear 1/2 of the canopy (around the gun opening). But overall it worked out fine. And it did leave some glue residue which is not fun to remove!

Thanks Chuck :-)
