I plan to buy this Tamiya Spitfire and I was wondering what colors I should get to paint this camo scheme. I usually use Tamiya acrylic paints.. so if you can point me to which colors I should get I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

Dark Green - XF-61
Ocean Grey - XF-66
Medium Sea Grey - XF-20
Sky - XF-21

NB. Most of these will probably be nearest equivalents rather than a match to the actual colour.

The model looks more like the BoBMF's repaint than the real aircraft. By the time Zumbach had finished with it, it was very worn and weathered and the nose had baked to a darker colour. Also the tip of the propellers are not correct. There was a thin black and thin white stripe after the yellow, a legacy of 133 'Eagle' Squadron where it was flown by F/Lt Don Blakeslee (27 operational sorties so it was well used when Zumbach acquired it in late September 1942).

Here is the real one. Notice how the front appears darker, the black and white stripes on the propeller tips and Zumbach's personal elongated mirror.
