Hi all,I need help again. Can anyone tell me what colours to get for the S.E.A. camo in Tamyia and Vallejo model air,I have them in white ensign enamels but Im returning to London to a smaller apartment (credit crunch ) and swmbo has vetoed the spraying of enamels.I would be most grateful for any Info.

Hi John,
I used Tamiya acrylics for the upper camo schemes on my 2 Thuds, but I used WEM USN non specular white, which is an off white colour for the underside. The upper surfaces were sprayed with XF-52 flat earth, XF- 58 olive green, with the final colour being XF-61 dark green.
Hope this helps.

For my Skyraider i used the following Tamiya Paints
Camo:
XF-52 Flat Earth lightened with a little XF-2 Flat White
XF-58 Olive Green lightened with a little XF-2 Flat White
XF-61 Dark Green
Underside:
XF-19 Sky Grey
And this was the final result

Hope this helps
