Hello guys,
In the past months I've been building a P-47D-30/40 Thunderbolt on the Dutch section of Kitmaker.net. The campaign was called "Fire Down Below"...and while almost everybody was making some kind of German AA, I had to make a target for them (...or just knock them out with my P-47 hehe )
The kit is build out-of-the-box except for Eduard seatbelts. The finish is done with Alclad paint for the silver en Tamiya and Gunze for the other colors. I used Tamiya smoke and MIG pigment (European Dust) to do some minor weathering. I hope u like it!

This is a great build. Very clean and crisp. I especially like the subtle weathering that you did. Also, the photography is excellent. You know what everyone would like to see, and you showed it. Excellent depth of field and sharpness. A good reference for others who are into the P-47D. You should be very proud of your Jug.
Thanks for the post,
Matt

Excellant Job on The Big Stud. You should post her over on the P-47 SIG as well.
That is one fine addition to your display case.

Some excellent work there Jurgen. I can only agree with Warlock and post this over on the P-47 SIG , Maybe even submit it as a photo feature?
