Good news for anyone modelling RAAF WW2 subjects - Lifecolor have new paint sets devoted to both homegrown and US export colours.

Hi Rowan,
Please forgive my ignorance, and I'm all for colour sets like this, but how do the colours included in these RAAF sets differ from RAF sets of the same period?

Hi Rudi
Set #1 features homegrown RAAF colours that had no direct RAF equivalents (Earth Brown and Foliage Green were quite distinct from RAF Dark Earth and Dark Green). Set #2 is for US produced aircraft, so there are a few standard USAAF colours like Olive Drab and Neutral Gray, but the "British" colours are the US Dupont variations, which were noticeably different (although some shared the same names) so, strictly speaking, it's not just a RAAF set (despite its title), but will have much wider applications.
All the best
