I'm an armor modeler normally but I have just started getting into aircraft after doing a couple of large scale helicopters. Because of this I'm not really familiar with the aircraft aftermarket scene. The vast majority of all my modeling is Vietnam War era which I intend to continue with aircraft. Would any of you knowledgeable chaps know if there are any aftermarket decals available for a 1/48 OV-10A Bronco I have the Testors kit with the Paragon Designs update and I would like to do it in Vietnam war theater markings. Ideally as a plane that would have been working over the Ho Chi Minh Trail but any marking for the Vietnam war era would be great.
Any help in my quest would be gratefully received.
Cheers
David

I haven't seen any aftermarket decals for the OV-10 in awhile, but it may be worth a look on the Two Bob's website. IIRC the USMC and USN OV-10s were in Field Green with a white upper wing and I can't recall if it was light gray or white undersides. The USAF OV-10s were Camouflage Gray oa with white wing upper surfaces (again IIRC). If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me.
It'll take some digging through the websites but Flighdecs in Canada may be worth looking at:

Hi!
Here´s some more;
http://www.fireballmodels.info/fmd-13.htm
Scroll down and you´ll find Cutting Edge´s sheet (OOP now, but give e-bay a try!);
http://www.internetmodeler.com/2001/october/new-releases/ce_decal.htm
Might be an interesting read;
http://www.hyperscale.com/features/2000/ov10ada_1.htm
I love this little stubby, ungainly but very sturdy machine!
Sadly, there´s no up-to date kit in 1/48th!
Cheers!

Don & Stefan,
Thank you for taking the time to reply.
It seems the Cutting Edge decal sheet would be what I'm after but sadly seems to be as rare as a very rare thing? But at least I can do the Bronco up as a Black Pony using the Fireball models decals which is just as good anyway.
Once again thanks for taking the time to answer.
Cheers
