Now, you have to remember...."don't take life too seriously" with this one!
While I was waiting for my decals to dry on my WWI airplane{yeah - wrong forum, I know}, I decided to start a fun lil project...this will be my "EggJug razorback". Seeing as they don't make a Razorback jug kit I decided to make my own....anyone care to watch, or should I stop here....

Is that a Junker D1, I think the designation is? I like that pattern! I want to do WW1 subjects but as long as I have been building I still am vexed by doing rigging! Yikes! Again, nice looking subject. Russell

Got the engine drilled for pushrod tubes and the fuse scribed with panel lines.
Wonder if edwards makes any PE for this?!

http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/indexApr09.htm Try that one abd scroll down to april 12th. The eggplages are all together there. It was probably one of the more entertaining days on ARC. Enjoy.

Alright, here's where ol eggy is at for the moment-
"over easy view"...I added the lower rear vent
"sunny side up view"{I'm getting hungry!}
front view{sorry, no egg joke for this one}...here we have the modded motor
side view - I added tail wheel doors
I'm doing a OD green top band in front of the canopy, bare metal body and I'm thinkin yolk yellow tail, wing tips and cowl. I drilled the needed 4th holes for the wing machine guns since only 3 per wing were given, added a pilot tube in the wing and still need to add the antenna on the razorback section yet....thoughts so far yolks?.......I mean "folks"?

All dressed up and ready to go...so far...
The cowl is out drying after being shot in primer...tomorrow it'll get a coat of yellow.
The engine has one wash of black...when dry we'll see if it needs more.......

Nice job nigel, the canopy came from an old testors 1/48 P-47d thunderbolt kit{#500} where it could be made either razorback or bubble canopy.

Cool guys...where's yours Terri?!
I buffed out the chrome and it started to get thin so another coat went on and will be followed by another..then rebuff.
Started painting the canopy and the prop...cowl is done.
... the simple project is dragging out alittle more than eggspected, but I'm still having fun!
