I'm just finishing up two aircraft where I put quite a bit of time into the cockpits. In looking at the models, it's almost a shame that all of that work I did is hardly even noticeable. So I was wondering if any company had ever come out with a model of just the cockpit. It would have to be a larger scale obviously, like maybe 1/16. With all of the equipment jammed into such a small area, I think this would be an interesting subject and a great canvas for superdetailing.

Verlinden did one or two in 1/10 or 1/20 years ago, ESCI did 2 in 1/12 I believe.

Esci has 1:12 scale cockpit kits of F-16 and F-104, nowadays re-boxed by Italeri.
