What's a good choice for aftermarket decals? I'm considering building an old favorite of mine: Revell's P-61 Black Widow and was in the market for decals for it (those provided are a bit too thick for my taste).

Hello Hermann
As a general hint: Whenever I look for some special decal set, I search the Hannants database (http://www.hannants.co.uk. they have one of the broadest selections and the search functionality works pretty good. A second source is the Eagle Strike/Aeromaster decal profile reference at Squadron (http://www.squadron.com/profilesearch.asp)
I bought a Superscale set for my Black widow, but I am not sure if the company is still in business (maybe under another ownership) and if the sets are still available.
My model is still on hold, because I tried to rescribe it (not really happy with the result) and I screwed the Eduard PE for the armoured intakes in the wings ... one day though.... Also Sergei Kosachev has some replacement canopies in the works (clear resin) ... should be available through Vector or Neomega when done. The plastic kit parts are really bad ...
Hope this helps a bit ...
all the best
Steffen
