Even though the kit is getting on a bit, Bill C [ BILL_C ] takes a look at Revells 1/32nd Messerschmitt BF-110 G-4 Nightfighter.
Thanks Bill.

Hi Bill

Great stuff! I'd have to check with Jean-Luc whether "Encore! Encore!" roughly translates as "Keep 'em coming!"... but keep 'em coming!

All the best

Bill

Great review - congratulations.

It seems that I may be working on an even older version of the 2 kits you have. Mine is Revell, with white plastic and the instructions are dated 1974. Obviously the U.S. Revell as there are 2 (yellowish) swastiks included in the decals.

I'm actually doing mine for the nightfighters campaign at the moment but my camera is AWOL so I can't send in piccies of all the putty .

Will be a '3 footer' when finished - which is why it is wheels up and will hang from the ceiling.

Rowan, thanks so much. I can review the Peddinghaus decals if you like and the Rutman conversion kit when it comes.

Brian, thank you as well. How can I join the Nightfighter campaign? I don't want to do a build log, because the whole process is so bloody complex. I'm actually about 2/3 through with one and 1/2 of the other. Am learning about scoring panel lines correctly (as opposed to looking like I took a buzz saw to the wings and then pasted them back together ).

I will paint one of them as Schauffer's plane (the Peddinghaus decals), and may do the second with the FuG218 radar array for some variety.

Does anyone do Luftwaffe letters in 1/32nd? PH does numbers, but I need the letters for the nightfighter versions I'm looking at.
