I am just wondering if the chopper with retractable pods used in the hulk is real. Anybody know what model is it?

Haven't watched the movie itself but I've seen the trailer. Looks like an RAH-66 Comanche. Last I heard the project was cancelled. Italeri has kits of this chopper although I personally wouldn't recommend that you get one of them unless you really have to

He's right, they are supposed to be RAH-66 Comanches. I posted on this earlier, see the TV & Movies forum on the Hulk military equipment.
There are just a few airframes in existence (2?) and the helicopter was cut last fall along with the Crusader. I think only one RAH-66 can actually fly.
As far as the kit goes, I have a pair of the Italeri 1/72 scale ones and one of the 1/48 scale ones. I'd grab them while you can. Anyone familiar with model kits of US military vehicles that made it into plastic but not into operational fielding will tell you they may be valuable some day.
Check out the prices for Aurora's 1/48 scale MBT70 and their 1/72 scale AH-56 Cheyanne attack helicopter on Ebay. Also try to find either the 1/25 scale ITC T-92 airborne tank or the Hawk/Tamiya 1/50 scale T-92. These four kits are valuable collector's items.

Thanks for the tip Rob! I might just grab another one. The 1/72 kits are selling for around 4 USD here.
