Is there any company out there that makes 1/100 or 1/144 Warbirds affordably? I only ask cause I am looking for some for a wargame I play.

For 1/144th, your best bet is Platz and/or Sweet. Sweet does a number of WW2-era 1/144th models, and are very superbly molded. Platz has a few as well, but are a little more difficult to find.

Best of luck!

Hi, what era or type of aircraft are you after?

As Matt said try Sweet for WWII or Platz but they have a limited range so far, if you let us know what aircraft your after we can tell you the best choice.

Eduard has some nice 1/144 Stuka's. I've built Platz P-47's and they came out great.

Cheers,

For P-47's it's got to be Platz who do both a bubble top and razorback 'D' but Platz can be hard to find unless you order direct.
For the Stuka's you will need to go with Eduard although their site has them listed as OOP

You can also find both in old Revell 1960's releases, these have no cockpits only a hole and only one or two decal options but in the case of the P-47 no painting guide.
