Robert White has sent in pics of a great looking F-86F. This is the Hasegawa 1/48 scale kit and was finished in a Bare Metal Foil. Check it out via the link below:

No, Bare Metal Foil, which he then buffed with a wax to "shine" it up a bit. Very nice. I haven't worked up the nerve to try the Foil, but Mr. White sure makes it look attractive.

Hi all!
It's frightening! If that's only his third model, maybe I should just stop now...
Superb! :-)
All the best

Man that is one great looking Sabre. Probably the best "metal" finish I've seen. Congratulations Mr White.

That's a great looking shine on that bird Mr. White! Job well done.
I've seen it being applied at my local hobby shop a while back. Is it as easy as it looks? I say "easy" because the guy there made it look so. I'm sure it takes a bit of practice.

It's not hard to apply the foil just a little practice and you figure out what your limits are.
If you are not worried about wasting a few pieces of foil you can apply each pannel untill you are happy with it.
