Hi folks,
I am thinking about starting a Stuka in 1/32 from 21st Century Toys (dirt cheap at £1.99).
Could one of you more knowledgable folks tell me what goes in the space behind the flared fairing thing on the underside , just in front of the bomb cradle. There probably is a technical name for this but I hope you can understand what I mean.
Have tried to get the answer on the web but have not been able to get any.
Is it solid or a grill or a mesh? On the kit it has nothing but a space.
Thanks in anticipation
Cheers
Keith

Hi Daniel,
If that is where the radiator is then yes.

That fairing contains a radiator. I suppose you could put some mesh, slightly inset, front and back to simulate it.

Hi Keith,
I'm not 100% sure where you mean but, from what you describe it sounds like the bomb aiming window location. I will try and get a photo to show what I mean.

Hi folks
Sorry I am not describing what I am after very well. Wingy things are a bit alien to me.
Hope this image will do the trick.
I should have done this at the start
What I am enquiring about is what goes in this space ?
Cheers

That would be a radiator.See this with fairing and cowlings removed.
Or this one that looks like they've got more chance of getting it in the air!

The radiator was only shallow so you djust need something to block the view straight through like some type of mesh on black painted plastic sheet?
