Here is the BF109E3 from Tamiya built OOB for the BoB campaign with added Lion roar seatbelt. I don't like how the antenna turned out, I might chage it later.

Hi Dave
She's looking really tasty! Nice job all 'round - particularly the weathering... is that pastels or spray (or both?)?
I see what you mean about the aerial mast... blame it on a clumsy mechanic...
It great to see things coming together for the end of the campaign. The RAF builders had better watch out...
All the best

"Lord Lens"
You have really got these aircraft down pat sir!!! Awhile back "Da Phantom Menace" and now this 109. The weathering is just outstanding! Panel lines pop, clean decal work----just a really pleasing model for the eyes.
Oh, and one more thing:
B-eautiful Bird
F-antastic Weathering
1-of a kind effort
0-ooooooh this is a great looking model
9-.9 stars out of 10
ps: you make me want to give a bird a try one of these days (but I'm scared!)

Dave, before you scrap and redo the antenna, try lighting wooden matches, blowing them out and then quickly and CAREFULLY running them under your aerial. As you get closer the heat from the match end will cause the aerial to tighten slightly. (At least if it is sprue or styrene.)
Model looks fantastic! Very nice job, mine isn't going to make it.

Lord dave
*sigh* what do I have to say now....
You are building things where I have no knowledge about. Planes, modern stuff etc. I can only go for the techniques. Well the painting is well executed and and the preshading (if that is what I recognise) is very good. the weathering of the parts where the guns are and the smoketracks on the under and upper sides of the wings are very good. Good looking plane dude
the fact that you used Lion roar Photo etched seatbelts would make you a popular.. no makes you loved by our good fellow Obe
Great job dude and I won`t burn it down

SS,I agree with Scott on the antenna fix.
I use monofilament fishing line, and the ol' glowing stick will tighten up the sag.Remember,on aircraft, sag is bad.On Panzer track, sag is good.

:-) He he he I don't think that I have to dream, there are plenty of allied aircraft in the campaign. enough to take on a few 109s and a 110 anyway Congrats on finishing :-)
