I was trying to find some info on the Unit metioned in the title. It appears everything I try I find a dead end. Model wise
I work with a man whose father flew P-39's and P-38's in the MTO in 1943-1944 for this unit and was hoping to find something out there that I could surprise the family with. His son is a great guy and a pilot as well but unfortunately he hasn't a lot of information to go on.
The closest thing I can find is the 1/48 Eduard Dual kit that mentions the 93rd FG in Tunisia in 43.
My question is 2 fold:
Is Eduards wording just a matter of different terms meaning the same thing?
Is there anything out there for maybe a P-38 as well for the unit? I have found out that the 12th USAAF was transferred to the 14th USAAF in Feb of 44 but info or pics of the P-38's anywhere....yet
Any info would be much appreciated

Paul,
Officially 81FG flew P-39 in North africa and Italy and then P-47 in India.
Officially 350FG also flew only P-39 in North Africa, but they use a least two P-38 for long range convoy escort.
