This topic has probably been done to death but i want to put a new spin on it,what if you could have ANY aircraft done by a mainstream manufacturer in 1/32 or 1/35 scale - what would it be ?.
One condition though, let`s keep it reasonable - NO-ONE would have the time/money/patience etc. to do a C-5 or KC-10.I personaly would love a large scale V-22 Osprey, the what-if and diorama possibilities would be endless.
Who knows, our prayers may be read and answered

Hi Danny
An F-82 Twin Mustang would be awesome - but, then, a decent one on 1:48 would be too...
All the best

A DH89 Dragon rapide...alittle off the wall, I know, but a nice looking plane still.
Short of that, maybe a nice lil connie or C-130.....

I would love to see a 1/32 scale AV-8B Harrier.
With Early, Night Fighter and Harrier II plus editions could maybe done all in one box.
Now that would be an eye opener to me.

I would like to see everything done in 1/48 redone in 1/35, to tie it in with the AFVs I have built. The way modeling scales are set up you would think it was a government operation. Of course, now having said that, some government regulator will probably step in to "fix" the situation.

Well Paul, you got your wish. Trumpeter has announced a 1/32 scale AV8B. As for me, I'd love to see a modern B-24 in 1/48, a Dominator B-32 in 1/48 OR either in 1/35 scale.
I have to admit, that even knowing why the manufacterers went with 1/32 scale aircraft and 1/35 scale armor, is like knowing the feud between Beta and VHS. Who cares? 1/35 scale wins, let's get everything new into 1/35!
And the F-82 Twin Mustang gets my vote too!

Somebody mentioned the Skyraider and I'm 100% on that also.
Already nominated B-25 and B-26. Maybe a late A26 for early Nam and a Henschel H-123 for tank popping in Rusland...

A-37 Dragonfly. As most of the other things I would build are already available in 1/32 or mentioned above. It would be a good size kit for 1/32 I think.
...or a C-47 and AC-47 not that I'd have the room or the money but it would be very tempting
Cheers
