Hello, this is my latest attempt to get something decent in A/C quarter scale. The base kit is of course Hasegawa's outstanding TF-104G with Aires cockpit and nozzle replacement sets. Apart from aforementioned aftermarket sets, I added some plumbing and wiring to the landing gear bays as well as cockpit. Cockpit itself is still missing several PE parts supplied with Aires set (all out of no-fog CA glue). I painted basic camouflage with Gunze aqueous colors, while Xtracolor enamel Orange was used for fuel tanks. Oil wash and several layers of semi-flat lacquer were used to finalize and seal decals and acrylic base paint. Shading effects were applied using Tamiya Neutral Gray with addition of Buff color and sealed by final coat of lacquer.
