RLM 02. It was/is a olive/gray hue. Depending on the model paint brand, it can be more gray (Humbrol) to a definite olive hue (Polly Scale, Model Master).

Totally missed this question, I am sorry.
the Revell tone is a pretty good match. I prefer Gunze Aqueous H70 .. which is very close to the original IMO, but the Revell R45 (IIRC) is not bad, esp. for 72 scale as it is a bit lighter when my memory serves me right.
