I picked up the Airfix Avro Anson on a trip to the UK recently, and the colors are a bit unusual to me: Does anyone know if the underside color "Beige Green" is really something else? Here in the USA this color doesn't seem to exist.
Any ideas?

It should be Sky; someone, at Hornby, has got the idea that Humbrol 90 , because it looks like Sky, is what should be used. In fact 90 Beige Green (odd name for it, anyway) is a match for the interior colour of early Spitfires, the S6B, and Supermarine Walrus.

Ver interesting info, Edgar!
When I read this post I instantly thought the name would rather fit Eau de Nile than Sky and as I have only very sketchy knowledge on british colours I did not post my thoughts ... very strange how the brain works ...
all the best

Thanks, That is exactly what I thought, as I could not find any other RAF Airplane with that color underside.
