Hey Rey,
Congrats on finishing your second aircraft model, which by the way looks great as does the weathering.

Comments, only two. First, ejection seat could use some lap and harness belts. Use some tape, PE or foil found around the house. Just paint and add in some silver for the buckels. Second, the wing root (wing base meeting fuselage) should be fill in.

Other than that a super great build. Be sure to enter into September's Model of the Month contest.

Happy Modeling,
Joe

Joe and Shawn, thanks for the inputs and compliments. i plan to build another one of these so i'll definitely take care of the wing roots.

looks great mate, ditto on the weathering.

I'm building the F/A-18A for the Ronnie RAAF campaign. Any tips or problems with the build?

Cheers
Damian

hi Damian, the only problem i had with this kit is where the lower front fuselage meets the upper half. it had a slight gap on the right side but can easily be fixed with putty or a piece of stretched sprue. the rest of the kit is a nice fit

Nice Hornet! I really like the paint job. I'm waiting for two Academy WW2 war birds to arrive in the mail, from what I can tell Academy does a good job in 1/72; I've been eye balling both this F18 and their F16 as a near future build.
