Greetings all;
The First annual Radio Control flyin event was recently held near Dymchurch heights at the north end of Romney Marsh. Day of Syn - Friday August 28th 2009
Dymchurch is a small village located on the south east coast of Kent at the very edge of the Romney Marshes. Dymchurch has a blue flag awarded sandy beach and is surrounded by mile after mile of flat countryside that is well suited to those who seek to walk or cycle, the village provides an ideal base for visitors to the area.
Dymchurch village itself has an assortment of accommodation types ranging from Hotel to "rooms at the inn", Bed and Breakfast to Caravans and also a large holiday park. In the centre of the village is an Amusement Park with the usual offering of Ghost Train, Dodgems, Log Flume and other rides which will keep the whole family entertained. The Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway also has a station in the village providing a unique way of travelling west as far as Dungeness and east as far as the Cinque Port town of Hythe. The sandy beach is the jewel in the Dymchurch crown.
The event is unique in that the event has RC aircraft that are known to be piloted by wee folk.
These images were taken by locals after a particularly heated 1/4 scale dogfight.
Evidently they use scale down BBs for shells.

I never thought that plastic models can be used to represent RC models!!!!!!
When I saw the thread name, I thought that was about RC micro scale models... so even it is not an RC forum, see the small scale RC plane
