I have 2 ME109 builds coming up. Both are Hobby Boss 1/72 kits. The E4 Trop of Marseille and a G2 trop. Does anyone know if JG27 ever did fighter-bomber missions or were they purely air to air? I've tried to look it up but can't find anything.
thanks
Mike

Yes, JG27 was was used for fighter-bomber ops. When the fourth Staffel was added in May of 42 its designation indicates 10.(Jabo)/JG 27. It was specifically meant for the fighter-bomber role.
