..not seen much mention on Aeroscale of this new Airfix release in its sumptuous bright new red box.....
Looks fantastic in the box...nice engraved detail, neat cockpit and super decals..not bad for a fiver..
..here's the result of an afternoon at the bench. Managed to get the instrument panels the wrong way round and back to front (!) - that could be my incompetence rather than the kit. Used decals as supplied for both panels and the side consoles. Wine bottle foil for the belts. Coloured sprue for the nav lights to be sanded to shape....the instructions suggest weighting the model by inserting the appropriate weight in the front wheel well !

almost finished !...the decals have taken at least three days on their own..

Just wanted to say, really sharp looking model there. Don't the Red Arrows fly the largest aerobatic formation in the world? Russell
