Hi All,

How many aircraft were in a USAF TAC fighter squadron, say c. 1965-75? I am interested in the F-100, F-104, F-105, F-4, F-5 and A-7 units.

Equally ponderful is a CAG. How many F-4s, F-8s, A-4, A-7 and A-6s per squadron, how many squadrons per ship?

Hi JTPRR, The composition of squadrons onboard carriers can be found at the following site:
http://www.history.navy.mil/branches/ordbat.htm
It lists the squadrons for each carrier during their Vietnam deployments. Hope it helps.
