What is wrong with the canopy?

I have saved apparently completely lost canopies with some patience and Tamiya polishing compound

Hi Justin

Glad you got a replacement part sorted.

I almost always attach etched parts to canopies with PVA (white glue). That won't attack the styrene if you mess up. (For really delicate pieces that aren't likely to get knocked, clear varnish is enough to hold them in place.)

All the best

Rowan
