Good evening all,
I am primarily an armor modeler, but I have had a love affair with the B25 since I was a kid. I even got to ride in one in Chino, CA about 12 years ago. Love the plane, especially the H.
I have a Monogram 1/48 scale B-25 that I would like to improve. The gun barrels are terrible and the wheels aren't weighted. Can someone suggest where I can find .50 cal barrels and replacement weighted tires? I've been searching the usual armor online shops, but haven't had much luck because I have no idea what manufacturers I should be looking at.
Can someone help? I haven't built an aircraft model in over 20 years and I'd really like to improve this one.
Thanks for your help. Email me direct, if you'd like.

Off the top of my head, Quickboost for guns, and True Details for wheels. Although most "weighted" wheels are overdone and I usually just file a flat on the bottom. There's been a couple of threads recently about it on Aeroscale.
Your best bet is to look at the Hannants website. Even if you never buy anything, because they carry almost every range in the world, you can use them as a handy reference for what's currently available, and then look it up on Google to find a supplier closer to home.

Sean,
Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction. Found the items on the Roll Models website.
You're right about the weighted tires being "overdone", but they'll beat the plain kit tires by a long shot.
Thanks again.
