Hi All,

Just looking for a bit of guidance really, I'm doing a Cat for the Sea Planes and Flying Boats through History campaign and I need help in chosing which one to purchase. My subject in question wil be A PB5 Y Catalina of the 490 (New Zealand) Sqaudron RAF, can anyone shove in the right direction of which one I need to buy. I knw there are an Airfix, Revell, Academy (all 1/72) and a 144 Minicraft one, but as a usual Armour builder I feel a bit lost, thanks for your help in advance

a very lost Jason

Jason.

The Academy offering is actually quite good, except for the usual rider about decals, assuming you're using aftermarket ones - go academy, good value for money.

The Airfix one is not so special, have no idea about Revell in 72 scale, the 48 one is quite nice, I've got 3. 144 minicraft is also not too bad.

HTH

Hi Andy,

Thanks for ya! advice, I've ordered the Academy one, (I may go and get the minicraft one as well ) , and then track down some aftermarket decals, then I'll be all set for the campaign.....
