This is the 1/72 scale offering from Hasegawa, the Macchi 202. The kit went together well and the decals were pretty good too. I painted it after consulting many references on the internet. There were many color combinations and I picked one that was at least close to reference photos or color plates.

The P-47 is for comparison and is from Academy. Amazingly the decals went on pretty well for an Academy kit; I posted the Thunderbolt a couple of years ago already when I finished it. Hope you enjoy the images, although the photos could probably be better. Russell

Interesting to note the size difference.

Looks good Russell. I've built the 1/48 version of Hasegawas 202 Folgore and it went together like a dream. Gotta love those Itallian camo schemes.

Thanks Fred and Hermon. The only problem I had was the wings were warped a bit downward, they didn't fit in the root area as flush as I would of liked but other than that it was a good kit. Russell
