Hello all
I am just getting into the WWI modeling arena a bit - been doing WWII stuff for many years - and am just finishing up an Eduard Dr.I, which has been very enjoyable. I am looking to build the Eduard 1/48 Eindecker as my next project, and am already contemplating just how exactly to do the rigging? I have been having an easy go of it with the minimal rigging of the Dr.I (did a D.VII earlier as well), and am now quite concerned about how to run all those support lines from the wings through the post on the fuselage. Any and all suggestions (especially about Eindecker-specific rigging) will be much appreciated.
thanks in advance
Paul

Hi Paul!
I certainlly am the least indicated to help you, since I just started to tackle WWI subject myself...
But, sure enough, you came to the right place!
If you dig a bit you'll find a lot of info on rigging. I did that too and learnt a lot (what I miss is practice and skill, but on theory I feel I learnt my lesson well )
What I can suggest you is to look at the build review of Pfalz D. IIIa by Terri Werner (thegirl) here on Aeroscale.
In my opinion she is one of the finest modeller out there and she did a wonderful job on that model. Plus she explains very well her method for rigging: you'll be amazed!
Please, keep us updated on your progresses!
ciao
