I've had enough time to go through my models and feel interested to take on the idea of a South Pacific P-38. Since Maj. Bong was from my hometown I thought I'd do his bird.

When I originally bought the Hasagawa kit, I bought some PE for it. In the PE it has inserts for the interior of the flaps. The directions state that the Fowler flaps need to be scratch built, I know what Fowler-flaps look like but my question is how many struts are there and the placement of the struts on the flap.

TIA
