I thought it might be helpful to have a thread of people who have successfully designed ribbons for campaigns. If you have, add a message possibly with images of the ribbons you have made. I hope the Powers That Be will make this thread sticky so campaign leaders won't have to search far for it.

here are mine:
- Self Propelled Indirect Fire (Armorama)
- Aces High II (Aeroscale)
- La Marseillaise (Aeroscale)
- Aces High (Aeroscale)
- Total War... Vietnam (Armorama)
I think that is it for ribbons. I sorta remember one other, but i can't recall what it would be.

Command and Control - Armorama
Blitz II: Africa - Armorama
Pre-Dreadnaught - MSW
Tin Cans of the Cold War - MSW
Blitz - Armorama

Those are most of the ones I have done. There might be a couple of others out there, but that should give you a good idea.

What program do you all use to make your ribbons? I am trying to find something better than MS paint to make a ribbon.

the gimp. a free tool takes a bit of getting used to but very powerful.
I make it in 500x200 and then shrink it by 10 to check what it looks like
A great looking ribbon can look lousy in 50x20. Less is more.

Having trouble uploading my campaign ribbon into the campaign page. It is formatted as a GIF and it is 20x50 pixels. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Gary: Is there a way that we can add this thread to all of the Kitmaker Campaign forums as a sticky? I'm not sure how many people will be looking for it here, aside from those who frequent Aeroscale or have found your link (like myslef).
I will only post once in this thread so that I may edit my post as I add more ribbons to my portfolio.
