Esteban Murador (ModelAces) has sent us some images of his fine looking 1:32 scale Bf 109 E-4 model. No it''s not the Eduard kit, but the "old" Hasegawa one. Esteban choose to paint the aircraft in the colors of Adolf Galland''s machine and added some historical notes to the article.

FWIW perhaps the pre (post?) shading on the wings would not quite be to my taste...
Only 289 of Hartmann's 'victories' were in fact 'officially confirmed' before the German claims sytem broke down in early 1945, while only 307 of his supposed claims had been officially filed before the end of the war. Factor in a percentage for over-claiming and I think its about time to start acknowledging that '352' victories is just too fantastic a figure, even for the 'greatest ace'..
